Panasonic prices quartet of Lumix digital cameras

Panasonic has just revealed the pricing for four of its Lumix digital cameras, where among them include the LUMIX DMC-TS2, LUMIX DMC-ZS7, LUMIX DMC-ZS5, and LUMIX DMC-ZR3. You won’t be able to get all four models right now since they will only be available come the middle of March 2010, but at least knowing how much it costs allows you to start saving up, even if it is just one month’s notice. First of all, let us take a look at the LUMIX DMC-TS2 before going on to the others after the jump. This is Panasonic’s second-generation rugged digital camera, boasting High Definition video recording capability in AVCHD Lite format, as well as the ability to be carried with you on your snorkeling trips – as long as you do not go below the 10 meter mark. Dropping this puppy is also not a problem, since it is shockproof to approximately 6.6 feet (2m), can work even in -10 degrees Celsius environments, and is dustproof as well. You will also find it equipped with a 28mm wide-angle Leica lens that extends to a 4.6x optical zoom, where the package will retail for $399.95.

Other additions in the LUMIX ZS-Series would be the LUMIX DMC-ZS7 and LUMIX DMC-ZS5 digital cameras. Both models sport the signature 25mm ultra-wide-angle Leica lens and a powerful 12x optical zoom, where the LUMIX ZS7 is a 12.1-megapixel shooter that boasts integrated GPS which will photos and Video with latitude and longitude location details. Apart from that, it also does HD video recording in the AVCHD Lite format, retailing for $399.95. As for the LUMIX ZS5, this model ships with a 25mm ultra-wide-angle Leica lens, 12x optical zoom and manual controls. It is $100 cheaper than the DMC-ZS7, where it records HD video in Motion JPG at 30fp.

Last but not least would be the LUMIX DMC-ZR3, a fully-featured compact digital camera that does HD video recording as well, featuring a 25mm ultra-wide-angle Leica lens and a 8x optical zoom. It has Panasonic’s Intelligent Zoom on the LUMIX ZR3 that is capable of extending the zoom to an impressive 10x. The LUMIX ZR3 will retail for $299.95 as well.
